What can you do to shock your customers…in a good way? I mean really surprise them. I’ve just come from a meeting  here in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for a chain of banks. I can’t tell you the name but I can tell you what THEY do. Their normal banking hours are 9am to 6pm. BUT…they open the doors 10 minutes before 9:00 in the morning and don’t lock up until ten minutes after 6;00pm at night….every day!  Does it cost them more money in wages? Yes, a little. Do people take advantage of this bank? Maybe…because the customers of this bank have been telling their friends…and the bank is growing 18% a year. You don’t have to give your customers incentives or discount prices. What they really appreciate is more of your time. It’s easier for them to do business with you. We’d like to hear from you. What have you done to blow your customers away? Go ahead….make a comment.
