You want to advertise your business for the lowest cost, right? Your friends have told you, “You have to be on Facebook and Twitter…it’s all about social media, right?” OR…You stew about what customer are saying about you on Angie’s list or Yelp. Do the Social Media thing if you want…but I’d rather suggest you under-think your marketing. Spend less money than you have to: Subway has a grand opening budget of….only $36 dollars. To put this perspective, Subway is the largest fast food chain in the world…25,000 locations…and they only spend $36 bucks? Here’s what they do…and it’s very LOW tech. When Subway opens a new location, the manager walks around the neighborhood with 200 freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. He or she walks into every neighborhood business and hands out a hot, gooey cookies. The cookies only cost 18 cents! But a hot gooey cookie makes an impression you can’t forget. Your turn.
